In American Christianity, the term "the Tribulation", (more accurately, the "Great Tribulation"), is often used synonymously with the Wrath of God, specifically indicating the seals, trumpets, and bowls listed in Revelation. Many people are shocked to learn, according to the Bible, the Wrath of God (specifically and plagues or judgements in Revelation), is NOT equated with the Great Tribulation. In fact, the Great Tribulations and the wrath of God are two totally different events!
